1
Youth/Adolescent Counseling
Youth/adolescent clients often are faced with an identity crisis due to their social stages of development (from youth to adulthood), bullying, body dysmorphia, self-harm, peer pressure, and conduct disorders. With the rise of peer influenced issues such as vaping, the therapist works with the client and their parent/guardian to provide the best suitable mental health care in hopes to reduce potential risky behaviors. We currently see youth/adolescents ranging from the ages 13-17 years old.
2
Adult Counseling
Our adult counseling services focus on a variety of topics related to identity development, unresolved childhood challenges, relationship issues, career development, life transitions, and irrational coping mechanisms. In adulthood, intimate relationships, careers, and parenthood become major milestones that greatly impact mental health. We want to ensure that every adult is adjusting to these transitions in the most mentally fulfilling way possible.
3
Geriatric Counseling
Geriatric counseling focuses on clients that are 65 years and older. The client may have concerns about grief and loss related to a spouse or child, feelings of loneliness and stagnation, physical pain related to aging that impacts quality of life, heightened depression, and concerns for the future. Our goal is to encourage our geriatric clients to identify their purpose in life in their current season to install hopes for the future while providing resources to socialize and establish new friendships.
